Lyon County Sheriff's Search and Rescue (LCSSAR)

In 2006, the LCSSAR brought together its volunteers as well as many volunteers from the Dayton area to organize and run the Dayton Valley Days Event. The LCSSAR continued to run the event from 2006 through 2009. The LCSSAR has contributed many volunteers to the Dayton Valley Day event. Please support the LCSSAR any way you can. Thank you.

Historical Society of Dayton Valley, Nevada

The Historical Society operates the Dayton Museum, which is located in an 1865 schoolhouse, the second oldest in the State. It still stands at its original location on Shady Lane at Logan. The schoolhouse served as the community's grammar school until 1959.

MISSION STATEMENT: The Historical Society of Dayton Valley has been established to protect, preserve and promote the historic Dayton Museum as well as Dayton area history, historic integrity, heritage and culture for the education and enjoyment of present and future generations.
